Noemio Mukoroli - “Mr. Mukoroli is a final year Diploma in Lifelong Learning and Community Education student at the University of Namibia. Having finished grade 12 in Gobabis,East of the Capital city , Windhoek. he is pursuing a career in this field because of his ambition to better the lives of communities. in 2013/14 I was a member of the 4th session of the Youth Parliament of Namibia. where i served as the Chief whip. I have experience in training, research and project consulting. I was a junior project consultant at Integrated Social development services in 2015. Also from the year 2015 he has and is still annually contracted by Feminist NGO Sister Namibia to conduct ‘Conflict resolution’ workshops in Rural Omaheke. . In November 2015 Darwin, Australia and December 2016 London, UK respectively, I presented reports on my Commonwealth Experience, as i am a Commonwealth Youth Parliamentarian. In 2016 I headed a student delegation that conducted research and a needs assessment in the informal settlement of Neu Sommerau North of the Town of Otavi. In late September/ early October 2017, I was again part of a student research delegation that carried out research in the informal settlements of Ombili, Ondera, Otjikoto lake setllment, and Neu Sommerau. i have several Young African Leaders Initiative certificates, namely in (i) Fundamentals of starting and running a business, (ii) Creating and maintaining social entreprises, and (iii) Understanding self growth.

Alimatu Jalloh from the Republic Of Guinea,studied International Relations at Kofi Annan University. When I was at the secondary school at Hillary Clinton English Academy I served as the Students Council president and also member of the debating committee. In 2013 I attended a boot camp on Conflict Resolution, Management and Leadership skills which made me create a masterpeace School club to contribute and participate in peacekeeping and unity. A certificate of proficiency was awarded to me as one of the best student of the year. Volunteerism is a passion that has always being in me ever since I was a kid, participating in community,national and international projects on Peace, Education and Environmental issues which affect our daily lives. African Union Students' Council is an International Organisation where I serve as AUSC Presidency Special Advisory For AUSC New Recruitments Focal Points.Due to my activism and contribution to my community and country I was able to represent Guinea in a Regional Consultation on Youth Peace and Security in Benin Cotonou from September 11-13 2017 and also on a launch of Report on childmarriage in Freetown and Guinea organized by Porposedful Production.I am passionate for development and Youth empowerment for a change.

I am Ms Vanessa Seth. I am 28 years old. I am currently the head of department for History and Geography at Pointe Larue Secondary school. My passion lies in youth affairs empowerment and development of Africa. One reason why i am a teacher and i find myself participating in local and international initiatives related to my area of interest which are youth and Africa as a prosperous continent. I envision to see an Africa where youth can seek and seize opportunities and where the youth are able to voice out and participate actively and directly in matters and issues that affects or have an impact on their daily lives and future. Being a membet of several international organizations i hope to share practices and knowledge acquired as an active youth. It is my wish to be the change i want to see though active youth policies and opportunities nationally and internationally. I am the chapter coordinator of yali alumni seychelles. Washington was born and raised in Kenya. He has a taste for everything in nature, from the small to the big and everything in between. By age 14, he was already on a career path towards nature interpretation and conservation. He has won many awards; including The Daisy Rothschild Award in 2015, Mr. Environment and Ambassador for Nairobi Province in 2012. He is a passionate author having written articles in many local and international publications. His education background is in Environmental Science (BSc.) and Animal Ecology (MSc.). He is a member of the Bird Committee of Nature Kenya, and chairs the National Bird of Kenya Sub-committee. He is also a passionate nature photographer and has won many awards, including First Position in the Underwater Category of the 2016 East African Wild Life Photo Competition. He is also the Vice Chairperson of the Kenya Herpetofauna Working Group. He is also a National Geographic Explorer, on his work with Crowned Eagles.

Ekene Ikwelle is a youth development enthusiast and an emerging expert on the Culture of Peace & development financing, with several years of experience working/volunteering with youth-led organizations and institutions, Social Innovations hubs, and UNESCO. He is UNESCO Young Leader on the Culture of Peace in Africa; was the Nigerian Official Youth Delegate to the UNESCO 8th Youth Forum, and helped kick-start a Youth Desk at the Nigerian National Commission for UNESCO. He was also involved in the global Create a Climate for Peace Campaign of the Service Civil International and European Commission, which focused on climate justice, sustainable living and development. He is the founder of the “Youth Vanguards for Peace” project, which focuses on promoting the concept of culture of peace, morale courage and de-radicalization through peace education using a peer-through-peer approach. He is also the Co-Founder of the Centre for Youth Advocacy and Development (CeYAD)’ a social impact driven space focused on capacity building,peace building and quality education.

Mpho Letima is a Peace and Security expert and an alumnus of the African Leadership Centre King's College London and University of Nairobi. A PhD Candidate at Durban University of Technology studying Public Management in Peacebuilding. She has worked in various capacities as an educator, democracy and governance fellow, elections conciliator, researcher, policy analyst, monitoring and evaluation expert and social entrepreneur within creative industries. She is the founder of Gender Entrepreneurship and Media (GEM) Institute a community based organisation founded in 2010 and officially registered in 2015. GEM Institute is a community based think tank that works with communities to disrupt inequality and build peace through technology, entrepreneurship, arts and multimedia (TEAM) as major vessels for peace building. The organisation's primary beneficiaries are youth, girls and women, while the target market/beneficiaries are the private sector, education/academia, public and development sectors. She is a board member for various international, national and local organisations Current Engagements Through GEM Institute; she is closely working with Lesotho National Commission for UNESCO on Social and Human Sciences programme looking into gender, youth, peace building using the "TEAM" approach under two flagship initiatives namely: Technology Art Gallery (Tag) iHub: It’s an initiative that is intended to create space on the role of artistic expressions for peace building. Also considering social entrepreneurship and creative industries as avenues to break socio-economic inequality. The second is Africa Code Week led by SheHacks 4D Future a group of young women scientists and technology specialists who encourage science and technology for women and girls to break the digital and technology innovation divide and inequality.

Elected Member of the Global Shapers Advisory Council on Governance & Accountability of the World Economic Forum. Extraordinary Humanitarian Award in Peace, Education and Youth, for dedicated and unwavering services to humanity, 14th May, 2016 –Monrovia, Liberia by Checago Bright Foundation Inc, USA. Nominated and selected as one of the top three finalists for the Outstanding Humanitarian Award, Adult Category, Republic of Liberia on 30th December, 2015 for African Sheroes Award; The Liberia Series. 2017 Emerging Woman of Substance, Style &Spirit Award as a phenomenal woman still in her twenties and making significant impact in the Liberian society and globally by the Order of the Women of Substance, Style and Spirit, Republic of Liberia, 21st May, 2017. Amongst her many functions as Executive Director for MOP-Liberia, Gwendolyn Myers serves as member of the Liberia Technical Working Group for Reconciliation and an active member of the Global Youth Advocacy Team, United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY), in The Hague. Her recent additional actions include speaking as one of the four discussion leaders (experts) at the interactive high level dialogue workshop in collaboration with UNWomen on “Empowering women and youth for peace and sustainable development”, UN High-level Dialogue entitled "Building Sustainable Peace for All: Synergies between the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Sustaining Peace, at the special invitation of the President of the Seventy-First session of the United Nations General Assembly, His Excellency Mr. Peter Thomson. Gwendolyn also delivered the first ever-official address to the UN Peacebuilding Commission on behalf of the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY) on youth as equal partners in peace and security issues, New York on 23rd November, 2015 advocating for scr#2250 on Youth, Peace and Security adopted 9th December, 2015 by the UN Security Council. A member of the United Nations Inter-Agency Network on Youth Development Working Group on Youth for Gender Equality in New York and recently nominated as Expert in Human Rights by the World Economic Forum joining more than 5,000 world leading experts engaged by the Forum to help shape the global agenda. Founder and Executive Director (2008-present) of Messengers of Peace (MOP)-Liberia Inc, a non-for-profit, youth led organization, that advocates for peace and mobilizes young people for volunteerism by engaging over a thousand volunteer peace messengers in over twenty peace clubs in schools and vulnerable communities in Liberia. She works with ex-combatants and conducts coaching and mentorship programmes for adolescent females in urban slums, organize peace campaigns, engage in public speaking across the globe, plan and manage dialogues for the meaningful involvement of young people in peace and security matters.

Adingra serves as the founder and chairperson of the pan-African youth movement called RAYID-Corporation. In this capacity, he works closely with UNESCO, UNDP and AfDB to advance the movement and to continue his commitment to civic leadership.

I'm the founder and president of the Association Multiculturelle pour un Avenir Meilleur (AMAM), an NGO established in 2011 and based in Mauritania, with headquarters in the capital city, Nouakchott. AMAM focuses on gender equality and women's empowerment, reproductive health and rights (including family planning, maternal and infant mortality), HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support, poverty alleviation, education, and cultural integration in Africa. To do this, AMAM promotes national and local ownership, leadership and capacity development, awareness campaigns for community mobilization and social change. Oumou was educated at the Institut Privé de Gestion in International Trade and Marketing, and also holds a BA in Project Study as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IPG, Senegal.

My name is Momodou M. Sarr a Gambian by nationality and work and live within the Gambia. as a young person i have gone through trhe educational system of my country from Primary to High school after which i went on to do different professional programs in the Gambia prominent amongst which is journalism, Banking and finance and development. As a young man growing under the roof of my parents, i have learned to take part in different voluntary organization during my school days to date. I am apart of the National Federation of the Gambia UNESCO Clubs and Centers and now serve as President to this moment. I also have my own charity that seek to provide schools and communities with water supply in rural and urban Gambia by providing them with Water Tanks and basic school needs. I also coordinate a cross country run in my country called Love4Gambia run which is organised to raise funds for health education in the Gambia. I work with a non Governmental organization in the Gambia called Nova Scotia Gambia Association NSGA who runs the Peer Health Education Program in the Gambia in all schools including The Gambia college and i serve as their as a Regional Roordinator and Media Head. As a development practitioner i am also the Village Development Committee Chairman of my native Village. I am as well a professional Musician as a drummer and i have a Band i play in my country called the Humanity Starz. I play soccer and love talking and interacting with young people.

Dominic has been advocating for the rights of poor people in deprived communities across Sierra Leone for nearly 10 years. In 2008, he volunteered with Restless Development Sierra Leone in Bonthe Island. Dominic has previously worked with Save the Children Sierra Leone, International Rescue Committee – Sierra Leone, Christian Brothers Project Sierra Leone, Restless Development Sierra Leone and Polio Persons Development Association in various positions. In 2012 he went to Kono, Eastern Sierra Leone, with International Rescue Committee, where he later established Passion for Humanity Sierra Leone. Dominic is the national president for the network of youth for development Sierra Leone, member national advisory board Restless Development Sierra Leone, member U-Report Steering Committee, 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow, 2017 UNWOMEN Global Champion for Women’s Economic Empowerment, 2017 Champion for women’s rights in Africa and former IRC WAY Ambassador and Field Access Fellow, New York City and currently Country Coordinator Pan-African Youth Network for a Culture of Peace - Sierra Leone.

Antonio Palazuelos is a founding member of PAYNCoP, supporting the network activities on the Portuguese Speaking countries in Africa and the Small Island nations (SIDS) of Africa. He works as International Consultant based in Praia, Cabo Verde. He has been involved professionally with the United Nations in Cabo Verde, United Nations Volunteers, ECOWAS, EU Delegation in Cabo Verde and FAO, among other international organizations. He is specialized in Communication for Development, with extensive training in peace education, advocacy and awareness raising and contributor of the Culture of Peace News Network (CPNN). Among his impressive list of youth and peace engagement activities, he coordinates the Global Youth Alliance for Democratic Citizenship and Culture of Peace, he is co-founder of the African Network of Youth Policy Experts, Board Member of SYAH Cabo Verde and former advisor to the Cabo Verde Youth Federation. Likewise, he coordinated the project Youth as Promoters of Intercultural Understanding, awarded with the Youth Solidarity Fund by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations. Furthermore, he convened the Intercultural Forum on Democratic Citizenship and Culture of Peace in Cabo Verde, with the patronage of UNESCO, and he was member of the organizing committee of the African Universities on Youth and Development, as well as International Facilitator for the World Conference on Youth, in Sri Lanka for the sessions on Peace, Reconciliation, and Ending Violence. Antonio was a laureate by Civicus International with the Nelson Mandela - Graça Machel Innovation Award and he was a Rotary Peace Fellow. He did his postgraduate studies in Thailand and Sweden and his graduate studies in Spain and United Kingdom.
