About Us

2nd International FESA-UNESCO conference on the Prevention of Violence and the promotion of Peace during the Electoral Period

Guiding Principles

Our guiding principles are enshrined in the common African aspiration for a peaceful, prosperous Africa, at peace with itself and others. We believe in a continent with shared common cultures, values, ethnic, religious tolerance and respect for human dignity.

We need to rebuild our cultural pride, rejoice and strengthen the unity in our diversity. Engaging ourselves to influence the national policy making, advocacy and implementation of peace education programs and projects would make a significant contribution to our mission.

Our strength lies in collaboration and cross-pollination of our network, including leveraging the human resource in our African diaspora. This will allow us to innovate, share common best practices towards direct actions for the promotion of the culture of peace and ultimately benefit all African youths including the disabled, rural and marginalized groups
